Jennifer graduated from John Marshall Law School in 1994. After passing the bar and being admitted to the State of Illinois to practice law, Jennifer began working for a private firm in Cook County. For 5 years she focused on Criminal Law in the Cook/Dupage/Lake county areas.
In 2000 she moved to Bloomington, Illinois and started working for the McLean County State’s Attorney Office. She continued to work for the State’s Attorney until 2014. While there, she was the head of the domestic violence, the designated attorney for child sex crimes and led the Sexual Assault Task Force.
In 2014 Jennifer moved to the office of the McLean County Public Defender’s office. She changed jobs at that time to help ensure that the indigent people of McLean County had the best representation. After serving as the First Assistant in the Public Defender’s office, she decided to start her own firm.
On January 1, 2019 Jennifer opened the JP Law Office. JP Law Office is a one attorney law firm. Jennifer focuses on her clients and tries to give them the personal touch that everyone deserves. JP Law Firm focuses on Criminal Law, felonies, misdemeanors, and traffic. She has been a Guardian Ad Litem and is able to assist people in divorces or child custody issues.
